How To Make Grilled Baby Onions with Cream & Basil

Ingredients
- 16 baby onions
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp fresh basil, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

Peel and trim the baby onions, leaving the root intact to hold them together.

In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, salt, and pepper. Brush the mixture onto the baby onions.

Place the onions on the grill and cook for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are softened and slightly charred.

Remove the onions from the grill and let them cool slightly.

In a separate bowl, whisk the heavy cream until it starts to form soft peaks.

Stir in the chopped basil and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Transfer the grilled baby onions to a serving dish and drizzle the cream and basil mixture over them.
