How To Make Eggy Fried Rice

Who says vegetarians don’t get to enjoy savory meals? A taste of these authentic vegetarian recipes will make you change your mind. So, you just might want to go vegetarian after your first bite.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 4 cups of cooked rice
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat.

  2. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

  3. Push garlic to one side of the pan and crack the eggs into the other side. Scramble the eggs until they are cooked.

  4. Add the mixed vegetables and cook for 2-3 minutes until they are tender.

  5. Stir in the cooked rice, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix everything well until all ingredients are evenly coated.

  6. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the rice is heated through.

  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
