Ingredients

  • 1 lb mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.

  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant.

  3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they release their moisture and become tender, about 5-7 minutes.

  4. Remove the skillet from the heat and season the mushrooms with salt and pepper to taste.

  5. Transfer the cooked mushrooms to a baking dish and sprinkle the cheddar cheese evenly over the top.

  6. In a small bowl, combine the Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs. Sprinkle this mixture over the cheddar cheese.

  7. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  8. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
