How To Make Chargrilled Artichokes with Lemon

Ingredients
- 4 artichokes
- 2 lemons, juiced
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Trim the artichokes by removing the tough outer leaves and cutting off the top third of each one.

Steam the artichokes until tender, about 15 minutes.

Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

In a small bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper.

Brush the artichokes with the lemon mixture.

Place the artichokes on the grill and cook for about 5 minutes on each side, or until grill marks appear.
