How To Make Cabbage Koshimbir

Ingredients
- 2 cups cabbage, finely shredded
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1 green chili, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh coriander leaves, chopped
- 1/4 cup grated coconut
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
Instructions

In a mixing bowl, combine cabbage, yogurt, green chili, coriander leaves, and grated coconut.

In a small pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds. Once they start spluttering, add cumin seeds and turmeric powder. Remove from heat.

Pour the tempering over the cabbage mixture and mix well. Add salt to taste.

Let the koshimbir sit for 5 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.

Serve chilled as a side dish with rice or roti.
