How To Make Broccoli & Sage Pasta

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces of pasta
  • 2 cups of broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh sage, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

  3. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

  4. Add the broccoli florets and cook for 5 minutes, or until they are bright green and slightly tender.

  5. Stir in the chopped sage and red pepper flakes (if using) and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

  6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine.

  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  8. Serve hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese.
