How To Make Baked Pumpkin Fondue

Ingredients

  • 1 small pumpkin
  • 2 cups of grated Gruyere cheese
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp of dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Baguette slices, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut off the top of the pumpkin and scoop out the seeds and fibers.

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the grated Gruyere cheese, heavy cream, minced garlic, dried thyme, salt, and pepper.

  3. Place the pumpkin on a baking sheet and pour the cheese mixture into the pumpkin. Replace the pumpkin top.

  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the pumpkin is tender and the cheese is golden and bubbly.

  5. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

  6. Serve the baked pumpkin fondue with baguette slices for dipping.
