  • 1 loaf of babka
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup cranberries
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp cloves
  • 1/4 tsp ginger

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

  2. Carefully slice the babka into 1-inch thick slices.

  3. Spread the softened cream cheese onto each slice of babka.

  4. Roll up each slice tightly and arrange them in a circle on a baking sheet, forming a wreath shape.

  5. In a small saucepan, combine the cranberries, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger. Cook over medium heat until the cranberries burst and the mixture thickens into a jam-like consistency.

  6. Spoon the spiced cranberry jam into the center of the babka wreath.

  7. Bake the babka wreath in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the babka is golden and crispy.

  8. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
