Ingredients

  • 1 cup cranberries
  • 2 ripe pears, peeled and diced
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine cranberries, pears, brown sugar, orange juice, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, salt, and water.

  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until cranberries burst and pears are tender, about 10-15 minutes.

  3. Remove from heat and let cool.

  4. Transfer the relish to a serving dish and refrigerate until ready to serve.
