How To Make Vegan Smoked Salmon Toasts
Turning vegan may look challenging for some, especially for those who can’t turn their eyes away from meat. But they just haven’t found these sumptuous vegan recipes that even non-vegans will surely enjoy!

Ingredients
- 4 medium-sized carrots, peeled
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons liquid smoke
- 2 tablespoons tamari or soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 4 slices of bread, toasted
- Vegan cream cheese, for spreading
- Fresh dill, for garnish
Instructions

Using a vegetable peeler, thinly slice the carrots lengthwise to resemble smoked salmon strips.

In a shallow dish, whisk together the olive oil, liquid smoke, tamari or soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and maple syrup.

Add the carrot slices to the marinade and let them sit for at least 10 minutes, tossing occasionally.

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the marinated carrots. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the carrots have softened slightly.

Spread the vegan cream cheese on each slice of toasted bread.

Top each slice with a few strips of the cooked marinated carrots.

Garnish with fresh dill.

Serve the vegan smoked salmon toasts immediately.
