How To Make Molten Cheese-Stuffed Burgers

Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds ground beef
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, onion, ketchup, mustard

Instructions

  1. Divide the ground beef into 8 equal portions.

  2. Form each portion into a thin patty.

  3. Place a slice of cheddar cheese in the center of 4 patties.

  4. Top with the remaining 4 patties and seal the edges, making sure the cheese is completely enclosed.

  5. Season the burgers with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.

  6. Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.

  7. Cook the burgers for about 5 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness.

  8. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster oven.

  9. Serve the burgers on the toasted buns, with your desired toppings.
