How To Make Keto Steak and Mushroom Skillet Recipe

Juicy steak and sautéed mushrooms in a creamy garlic sauce – perfect for a low-carb dinner!

Ingredients

  • 4 ribeye steaks
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 16 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Season the steaks with salt and pepper.

  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over high heat. Add the steaks and cook for 3-5 minutes on each side (depending on desired doneness). Remove the steaks from the skillet and set aside.

  3. In the same skillet, melt the butter and add the sliced mushrooms. Sauté for about 5 minutes, until softened.

  4. Add the minced garlic and sauté for another minute.

  5. Stir in the heavy cream and grated parmesan cheese. Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook for a couple of minutes until it thickens.

  6. Add the cooked steaks back into the skillet and spoon the mushroom sauce over the top.

  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
