How To Make IHOP Pancakes Recipe

Fluffy and delicious pancakes just like those served at IHOP!

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • Optional: butter and syrup for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

  2. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs. Then stir in the buttermilk and vegetable oil until combined.

  3. Add the wet mixture to the dry mixture and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.

  4. Heat a non-stick griddle or skillet over medium-high heat. Scoop 1/4 cup portions of batter onto the griddle. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown on both sides.

  5. Serve hot with butter and syrup, if desired.
