Ingredients

  • 1 lb green beans, trimmed
  • 1 lb asparagus, trimmed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add green beans and asparagus and steam for 5-7 minutes, or until tender-crisp.

  2. While the vegetables are steaming, in a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, honey, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper.

  3. Remove the steamed vegetables from the pot and transfer to a serving dish.

  4. Drizzle the honey-mustard sauce over the vegetables and toss to coat evenly.

  5. Serve warm and enjoy!
