Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1/3 cup fresh chives, chopped
  • 1/4 cup green onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and black pepper.

  3. Add in cold butter and use a pastry cutter or your hands to blend the butter until it resembles coarse crumbs.

  4. Mix in fresh chives and green onions.

  5. Slowly pour in milk and stir until a sticky dough forms.

  6. Knead the dough on a floured surface and roll out to 1/2 inch thickness.

  7. Cut out biscuits using a biscuit cutter or the rim of a glass.

  8. Place biscuits onto a lined baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown on top.

  9. Serve warm and enjoy!
