Corn on the Cob with Garlic-Chives Butter Recipe

Don’t just put the normal butter on your corn on the cob, try something different and follow this recipe for a garlic and chive butter.

How To Make Corn on the Cob with Garlic-Chives Butter

The perfect side dish for BBQs

  • 6 fresh ears with husk
  • ½ cup butter (softened)
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • ¼ cup fresh chives (finely chopped )
  1. Pull back corn husks; remove and discard silks.
  2. Pull husks over corn.
  3. Cover corn with water; let stand 1 hour (this keeps husks from burning). Drain.
  4. Stir together butter, garlic, and chives.
  5. Grill corn, without grill lid, over medium heat 300 to 350 degrees F for 20 minutes or until tender, turning often.

  6. Remove husks.
  7. Spread desired amount of butter over corn.
