Ingredients

  • 8 cloves of garlic
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh chives

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Peel the garlic cloves and cut a small slit in each one to resemble an eyeball.

  3. Place the garlic cloves in a bowl and pour in the olive oil. Toss to coat.

  4. In a separate bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper.

  5. Roll each garlic clove in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to adhere.

  6. Place the coated garlic cloves on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.

  7. In a small bowl, mix together the sour cream and chopped fresh chives to make the creamy chive dip.

  8. Serve the garlic eyeballs with the creamy chive dip.
