  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup of heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup of unsalted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.

  2. Add the brown sugar and stir until melted and combined, about 2-3 minutes.

  3. Slowly pour in the heavy cream and continue to stir until the mixture is smooth and thickened, about 5 minutes.

  4. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.

  5. Let the sauce cool for a few minutes before serving. It will thicken as it cools.
