How To Make Baked Spaghetti

Delicious spaghetti baked to perfection with layers of tomato sauce, pasta, and cheese.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 24 oz jar of tomato sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  2. Cook the spaghetti according to package directions and drain.

  3. In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté onions and garlic until they are soft and translucent.

  4. Add the ground beef and cook until browned.

  5. Drain the excess fat and add in the tomato sauce, water, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

  6. In a 9×13 inch baking dish, layer half the cooked spaghetti, followed by half the meat sauce, and half the mozzarella cheese.

  7. Repeat the layers and top with any remaining cheese.

  8. Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes until bubbly and the cheese is golden brown.

  9. Serve hot and enjoy!
