How To Make Sardine Curry Recipe
A spicy and flavorful curry dish made with canned sardines, veggies, and aromatic spices.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 2 cans of sardines in oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 green chili, chopped
- 1 tomato, chopped
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- ½ tsp chili powder
- Salt, to taste
- 1 cup water
- 2 tbsp oil
- Fresh coriander leaves, chopped (optional)
Instructions

Heat oil in a pan and sauté onions until golden brown.

Add garlic and green chili and sauté for a minute.

Add chopped tomatoes and cook until mushy.

Add all the dry spices and salt, and stir for a few seconds.

Add sardines and mix gently.

Pour in water and let the curry simmer for 5-7 minutes on medium heat.

Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or bread.
