How To Make A&W Cream Soda (Copycat)

Here’s an A&W cream soda copycat that will help you stay refreshed. Lemonade mix and soda water are combined for an easy and tart thirst-quencher.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1⅓cupsgranulated sugar
  • tspKool-Aid unsweetened lemonade mix
  • 1cupwater,very hot
  • 1cupcorn syrup
  • ½tspvanilla extract,plus additional ¼ tsp
  • 10cupssoda water,cold

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the sugar and Kool-Aid drink mix in hot water in small pitcher.

  2. Add corn syrup and vanilla extract. Stir well.

  3. Cover and chill syrup until cold.

  4. When the syrup is cold, pour ¼ cup of syrup into 1 cup of cold soda water. Stir gently.

  5. Add the syrup and soda water mixture to the pitcher of sweetened Kool-aid. Stir gently.

  6. Add remaining syrup and soda to the pitcher.

  7. Stir gently, add ice and serve. Enjoy!
