How To Make Rhubarb Crumble Trifle

- 2 cups rhubarb, chopped
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
- 2 cups vanilla custard
- Whipped cream, for topping
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a bowl, mix rhubarb and granulated sugar. Place in a baking dish and bake for 15 minutes.

In a separate bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, oats, and almonds. Cut in cold butter until crumbly.

Spread the crumb mixture evenly over the partially baked rhubarb and return to the oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.

Allow the rhubarb crumble to cool completely.

In serving glasses or dishes, layer the rhubarb crumble, vanilla custard, and repeat. Finish with a dollop of whipped cream on top.
