How To Make Rhubarb & Pear Crumble
A delicious and comforting dessert featuring the tartness of rhubarb and the sweetness of pears, topped with a crispy crumble topping.

Ingredients
- 4 cups of rhubarb, chopped
- 2 pears, peeled, cored, and sliced
- 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup of rolled oats
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large mixing bowl, combine the rhubarb, pears, granulated sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla extract. Mix well to coat the fruit evenly.

Transfer the fruit mixture into a baking dish.

In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, and salt until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the fruit mixture in the baking dish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until the fruit is bubbling and the topping is golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, if desired.
