How To Make Rhubarb & Almond Crumble Tart

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1/4 cup of granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup of sliced almonds
- 2 cups of fresh rhubarb, chopped
- 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, butter, and sugar. Using your fingers or a pastry blender, mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Stir in the sliced almonds.

In a separate bowl, combine the rhubarb, sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla extract. Toss until the rhubarb is coated evenly.

Press half of the crumble mixture into the bottom of a tart pan, pressing it up against the sides.

Spoon the rhubarb mixture onto the crust.

Sprinkle the remaining crumble mixture over the top of the rhubarb.

Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the rhubarb is tender.

Remove from the oven and let cool before serving.
