Ingredients

  • 2 peaches, sliced
  • 1 refrigerated pie crust
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Roll out the pie crust onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  3. In a bowl, combine the sliced peaches, brown sugar, flour, lemon juice, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

  4. Place the peach mixture in the center of the pie crust, leaving a 2-inch border.

  5. Fold the edges of the crust over the peach mixture, pleating as needed.

  6. Brush the crust with the beaten egg and sprinkle with granulated sugar.

  7. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the peaches are tender.

  8. Allow the galette to cool slightly before serving.
