Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 8 fresh figs, sliced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet onto the prepared baking sheet.

  3. In a small bowl, mix together the honey, melted butter, and vanilla extract.

  4. Brush the honey mixture onto the puff pastry.

  5. Arrange the sliced figs on top of the pastry.

  6. Sprinkle the sliced almonds and brown sugar evenly over the figs.

  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown.

  8. Remove from the oven and allow to cool before serving.
