Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut flour
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 4 fresh figs, cut into small pieces
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease four mini cake molds.

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, coconut flour, honey, eggs, vanilla extract, baking powder, and salt.

  3. Stir until well combined and smooth.

  4. Gently fold in the chopped figs.

  5. Divide the batter evenly among the prepared molds.

  6. Sprinkle sliced almonds on top of each cake.

  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the cakes are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  8. Allow the cakes to cool for a few minutes before removing them from the molds.

  9. Serve the little fig & almond cakes warm or at room temperature.
