Ingredients
- 1 sheet of frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 4 tablespoons of your favorite jam
- 1 egg, beaten
- Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheet to about 1/8 inch thickness.

Using a round cookie cutter or a glass, cut out 8 circles from the puff pastry.

Place 4 of the circles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Spoon 1 tablespoon of jam onto each circle, leaving a small border around the edges.

Brush the edges of the circles with beaten egg.

Top each circle with another puff pastry circle and press the edges together to seal.

Use a fork to crimp the edges of the tarts.

Brush the tops of the tarts with beaten egg.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.

Let the tarts cool slightly before serving.

Dust with powdered sugar, if desired, before serving.
