Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 1 cup frozen peas, thawed
  • 5 slices of pancetta, diced
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, torn
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface and transfer it to a tart pan. Trim any excess pastry.

  3. In a skillet, cook the diced pancetta over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  4. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper.

  5. Spread the thawed peas, cooked pancetta, torn basil leaves, and grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the pastry crust in the tart pan.

  6. Pour the egg mixture over the filling ingredients, making sure it covers everything.

  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the tart is golden brown and the filling is set.

  8. Allow the tart to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
