Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of ready-made puff pastry
  • 1 cup of frozen peas
  • 1 cup of canned beans (such as kidney beans or black beans)
  • 6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup of milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet onto the prepared baking sheet.

  3. In a bowl, mix together the peas, beans, bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese.

  4. Spread the mixture evenly over the puff pastry, leaving a small border around the edges.

  5. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Pour the egg mixture over the filling in the tart.

  6. Place the tart in the preheated oven and bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden and the filling is set.

  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
