Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup of butter, cold and cubed
- 1/4 cup of powdered sugar
- 1/4 tsp of salt
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 cups of fresh strawberries, sliced
- 2 tbsp of fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp of cornstarch
- 1 tsp of lemon juice
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a food processor, combine flour, butter, powdered sugar, and salt. Pulse until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Add egg yolk and continue pulsing until the dough comes together.

Press dough into a 9-inch tart pan, making sure to evenly cover the bottom and sides.

In a bowl, mix together strawberries, basil, granulated sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice.

Pour the strawberry mixture onto the prepared tart crust.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the filling is bubbly.

Allow the tart to cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.
