Preparation: 10 minutes
Cooking: 0 minutes
Total: 4 hours 10 minutes

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 small ripe melon, seeded and cubed
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon rose water
  • Fresh rose petals for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the melon, sugar, water, and rose water. Blend until smooth.

  2. Pour the mixture into a shallow dish and place it in the freezer.

  3. After 30 minutes, remove the dish from the freezer and use a fork to scrape the mixture, breaking up any ice crystals that have formed. Repeat this process every 30 minutes for the next 3 hours, until you have fluffy ice crystals.

  4. Once the mixture is completely frozen and fluffy, spoon it into serving bowls or glasses.

  5. Garnish with fresh rose petals and serve immediately.
