  • 500g fresh strawberries, hulled
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Place the strawberries, sugar, water, and lemon juice in a blender. Blend until smooth.

  2. Pour the strawberry mixture into a shallow 9×9-inch baking dish.

  3. Place the dish in the freezer and freeze for 1 hour.

  4. After 1 hour, remove the dish from the freezer and use a fork to scrape the frozen edges into the slushy center.

  5. Return the dish to the freezer and repeat this process every hour for 3 more hours, until the granita is completely frozen and has a slushy texture.

  6. Serve the granita in individual dishes and enjoy!
