How To Make South African Brown Pudding

Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup raisins
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large mixing bowl, whisk the eggs until frothy. Add the salt and sugar, and continue whisking until well combined.

Gradually add the milk, flour, baking powder, melted butter, and vanilla extract to the egg mixture. Stir until the batter is smooth and free of lumps.

Gently fold in the raisins.

Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.

Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
