How To Make Recipe Classic Rice Pudding

- 1/2 cup of white rice
- 4 cups of milk
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup of raisins (optional)
- Whipped cream, for serving (optional)
Instructions

In a medium saucepan, combine the rice, milk, sugar, and salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture comes to a boil.

Reduce the heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 30-40 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the mixture has thickened.

Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and ground cinnamon. If desired, add the raisins.
