- 1 cup of arborio rice
- 4 cups of whole milk
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp of salt
- Cinnamon powder, for garnish

Rinse the arborio rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Drain well.

In a large saucepan, combine the rinsed rice, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir well.

Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.

Reduce the heat to low and let the rice simmer for about 35-40 minutes or until the rice is tender and the mixture has thickened, stirring occasionally.
