How To Make Tasty Cottage Pies

Ingredients
- 500g minced beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup frozen peas
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 large potatoes
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup milk
- Salt and paprika for seasoning
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

In a large skillet, brown the minced beef over medium heat. Add the onion, carrots, and garlic, and cook until softened.

Stir in the tomato paste and Worcestershire sauce, and cook for 2 minutes.

Pour in the beef broth and bring to a simmer. Add the frozen peas and season with salt and pepper. Cook for another 5 minutes.

Meanwhile, peel and chop the potatoes. Boil them in salted water until tender. Drain and mash with butter, milk, salt, and paprika.

Transfer the meat mixture to a baking dish and spread the mashed potatoes on top.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the potatoes are golden and the filling is bubbling.
