Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup beef drippings or vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C). Place a muffin tin or Yorkshire pudding pan in the oven to heat up.

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, flour, milk, and salt until well combined and no lumps remain.

  3. Carefully remove the hot muffin tin from the oven and add a small amount of beef drippings or vegetable oil to each cup. Return the tin to the oven for 5 minutes to heat the fat.

  4. Carefully pour the batter into the hot cups, filling each one about 2/3 full.

  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the puddings are puffed up and golden brown.

  6. Serve immediately with your favorite roast dinner.
