  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ginger
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp cloves
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a square baking dish.

  2. In a bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix well.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves, salt, baking powder, and baking soda.

  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the pumpkin mixture, stirring until well combined.

  5. Pour the batter into the greased baking dish and spread it evenly.

  6. Bake for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  7. Allow the pumpkin squares to cool before serving.
