Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • Ground cinnamon, for dusting

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet and cut out 12 circles that will fit into a muffin tin.

  3. Press the pastry circles into the muffin tin, making sure to cover the bottom and sides evenly.

  4. In a saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until it reaches a simmer.

  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the sugar, flour, and egg yolks until well combined.

  12. Carefully transfer the tarts to a wire rack to cool completely.

  13. Dust the tarts with ground cinnamon before serving.
