  • 2 cups cherries, pitted and halved
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup cold unsalted butter, cut into small cubes

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. In a medium bowl, combine the cherries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Mix well and set aside.

  3. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, oats, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Add the cold butter cubes and use your fingers to rub the mixture together until it resembles coarse crumbs.

  4. Divide the cherry mixture evenly among four individual ramekins or baking dishes.

  5. Sprinkle the crumble topping over the cherries, covering them completely.

  6. Place the ramekins on a baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes, or until the filling is bubbly and the topping is golden brown.

  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

  8. Serve warm and enjoy!
