Total: 55 minutes

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh raspberries
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, combine the raspberries, sugar, and lemon juice.

  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture comes to a boil.

  3. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 30-40 minutes, or until the jam thickens.

  4. To check if the jam is ready, spoon a small amount onto a chilled plate. It should gel and not run off the plate when tilted.

  6. Transfer the jam to sterilized jars and seal tightly.

  7. Allow the jam to cool completely before storing it in the refrigerator.
