How To Make Profiterole & Salted Toffee Ice Cream Sandwiches

Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 4 large eggs
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 pint salted toffee ice cream
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a saucepan, bring the water and butter to a boil. Add the salt and flour, stirring until the mixture forms a ball.

Transfer the dough to a mixing bowl. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, until well combined.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Using a pastry bag or a spoon, pipe or shape the dough into small rounds.

Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let them cool completely.

Slice the profiteroles in half horizontally. Place a scoop of salted toffee ice cream on the bottom half of each profiterole. Top with the other half.

Serve immediately or freeze for later enjoyment.
