How To Make Orange Cream Cookies
These orange cream cookies comes with a scrumptious flavor combo of citrusy orange and sweet chocolate chips, for an irresistible sweet treat!

Ingredients
- ¾cupshortening
- 1½cupsbrown sugar,packed
- 2eggs
- 1tspvanilla extract
- 3cupsall-purpose flour
- 3tbsporange flavored drink mix,like Tang®
- 1½tspbaking powder
- ½tspsalt
- 1tspbaking soda
- ½cupbuttermilk
- 1cupwhite chocolate chips
- 1tspbutter
For Orange Glaze:
- 3tbsporange flavored drink mix,like Tang®
- 1cupconfectioners’ sugar
- 3tbspwater
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Lightly grease the baking sheets.

Cream the shortening and brown sugar together in a bowl until light. Beat in the eggs and vanilla. Add in the flour, 3 tablespoons of drink mix, baking powder, and salt.

Dissolve the baking soda into the buttermilk in a separate bowl, then stir it into the flour mixture alternately with the buttermilk mixture. Stir in the white chocolate chips.

Drop the dough by teaspoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheets.

Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
Orange Glaze:

In a small bowl, blend together the butter, 3 tablespoons of orange drink mix, and confectioners’ sugar until smooth.

Mix in the water 2 teaspoons at a time until a pourable consistency is reached.

Frost cookies while still hot with orange glaze, serve warm, and enjoy!
