How To Make No-Sugar-Added Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1/4 cup raisins or dried cranberries
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, applesauce, and vanilla extract.

Add the rolled oats, nuts (if using), raisins or dried cranberries, cinnamon, and salt. Mix until well combined.

Use a cookie scoop or tablespoon to drop heaping spoonfuls of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet.

Flatten each cookie slightly with the back of a spoon.

Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.

Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
