How To Make Christmas Cookies

- 1 cup of butter, softened
- 1 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 3 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- Assorted sprinkles and decorations
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

Add the vanilla extract and eggs to the butter mixture and mix well.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until fully combined.

Roll the dough into small balls and flatten slightly with the palm of your hand. Place the cookies onto a greased baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
