How To Make Banana Bread Cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup of melted butter
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp of baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 1/2 tsp of cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.

  3. Add the melted butter, brown sugar, and vanilla extract to the bowl. Mix until well combined.

  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.

  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in the chopped walnuts, if desired.

  6. Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown.

  8. Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
