- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup brewed coffee (cooled)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a round cake pan.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Add in the milk, vegetable oil, brewed coffee, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.

Gradually add the hot water to the batter and mix until smooth.

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
