  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple (canned)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a round 8-inch cake pan.

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.

  3. Add the crushed pineapple (including the juice), melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Stir until well combined.

  4. Pour the batter into the greased cake pan and smooth the top.

  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  6. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

  7. Once cooled, slice and serve. Enjoy!
