How To Make Spicy Beef and Bean Enchilada Pie

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 can (10 oz) red enchilada sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1/2 cup diced bell peppers
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 store-bought pie crust
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Drain any excess grease.

Add the onions, bell peppers, and garlic to the skillet. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the vegetables are softened.

Stir in the black beans, enchilada sauce, chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5-7 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

Press the pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish, making sure to cover the bottom and sides.

Pour the beef and bean mixture into the pie crust. Spread it evenly.

Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
